FTSE 100 pulled lower by slump for WPP

U.K. stocks edge down Monday, led lower by drops for shares in Sage Group PLC and WPP PLC. But a surge for Costa Coffee parent Whitbread PLC helps limit the drop. Traders also are assessing the fallout from the airstrikes on Syria.
