Nvidia Corp. (Nasdaq: NVDA) swung to a loss for the first quarter of 37 cents per share from income of 30 cents per share last year as revenue tumbled and the graphics chip maker recorded a significant charge. The stock price dropped $1.48 to close at $9.25.
