Liz Claiborne Inc. (NYSE: LIZ) signed an exclusive deal to sell its namesake apparel at J. C. Penney Company Inc. (NYSE: JCP). Shares of Liz Claiborne surged $1.36 to $6.56 while J. C. Penney stock edged up 17 cents to $35.08.
