More New Accounts Opened At Regions Financial

Regions Financial Corp. (NYSE: RF) swung to a loss for the third quarter of 37 cents per share compared with earnings of 11 cents per share last year but the regional bank reported a 29% increase in new accounts opened in the quarter. The stock price rose 24 cents to $5.94.
