Stanley Works (NYSE: SWK) will acquire The Black & Decker Corp. (NYSE: BDK) in an all stock deal valued at approximately $4.5 billion. Shares of Stanley Works climbed $2.07 to $47.22 while Black & Decker stock leaped $11.23 to $58.57.
