Oil companies extend losses

Goodrich Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: GDP) plunged 75 cents to close at $2.96, Sanchez Energy Corp. (NYSE: SN) tumbled $1.73 to close at $7.00 and Mill Energy Resources (NYSE: MILL) fell 41 cents to close at $1.22 as crude oil prices dropped to its lowest level in five years.
