Narrower than expected loss for Quiksilver

Quiksilver Inc. (NYSE: ZQK) reported a narrower than expected loss for the first quarter of 11 cents per share compared with a loss of 13 cents per share in the year ago period. The stock price climbed 32 cents to close at $2.02.
