Excel
Trust Inc. (NYSE: EXL) will be acquired by The Blackstone Group
(NYSE: BX) in an all cash deal valued at approximately $2 billion.
Shares of Excel Trust soared $1.97 to $15.81 while Blackstone Group
stock rose 77 cents to $39.97.
