First Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR) reported
sharply higher second quarter revenue and earnings of 93 cents per diluted share compared with 4 cents per dilutes share a year earlier that surpassed
analyst expectations and forecast full year results ahead of estimates. The stock price leaped $7.42 to close at $51.92.
