ECB keeps main rate at 0.05%, pushes deposit rate to -0.3 %

The European Central Bank has kept its main refinancing rate, or the price that banks pay to borrow funds from the ECB at 0.05 percent at its regular policy meeting hosted at its headquarters in Frankfurt.
