Dehaier Medical Systems of Beijing raised $20 million from Hangzhou Liaison, an online company, to support its wearable medical device business; Shanghai's Ascentage Pharma and UNITY Biotech will collaborate to develop anti-senescence treatments; Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine will advance cancer treatments discovered at New York's Albert Einstein College of Medicine; Collagen Solutions of Scotland formed a China distribution JV with Cre8ive, a China investment firm; Beike Biotech, a Shenzhen stem cell company, announced it has built a "strategic position" in cancer immunotherapy; the CFDA has granted priority review to HCV drug candidates from seven pharmas, both foreign and domestic; and Merck of Germany reported Erbitux met its primary endpoint in a China Phase III trial for colorectal cancer.
