The Devil’s in the Emails: Stocks Drop as FBI Discovers New Clinton Missives

Stocks finished the week mixed after the three major benchmarks fell today following the FBI's discovery of more Hillary Clinton emails. The S&P 500 fell 0.7% this week after dropped 0.3% to 2,126.41 today, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 0.1% this week after declined 8.49 points, or 0.1%, to 18,161.19 today. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3% this week after falling 0.5% to 5,190.10 today. The big news today, of course, was the the FBI had found news emails relating to more Hillary Clinton email's being discovered by the FBI, turning an up day upside down . Kudos to Citigroup's Tina Fordham and team for warning complacent investors of the "reasons for caution" despite the high odds of a Clinton victory over Donald Trump:
