Health Net Federal Services Receives ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management

Health Net Federal Services, LLC, (HNFS) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Centene Corporation (NYSE:CNC), announced today it has been awarded the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification, an internationally recognized standard for quality management systems, following a rigorous audit by National Quality Assurance (NQA), an independent global certification body. Since 2004, HNFS has been awarded this certification on five separate occasions.

“Health Net Federal Services’ ISO 9001 certification recognizes our framework and processes in place for quality management,” said Billy Maynard, president and CEO, HNFS. “These industry standards and best practices are fundamental to our organization’s business operations and emphasize evidence-based decision making. In alignment with our TRICARE contract and Defense Health Agency partners, HNFS is committed to the highest quality services, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards that allow us to keep our focus on our customers and ongoing improvement.”

“The stringent demands of meeting the ISO 9001 requirements shows objective evidence of HNFS’ dedication and competence for providing high-quality, cost-effective managed health care and confidential counseling services to service members and their families,” said Christi Friedrichs, director, Business Development, NQA.

International Organization for Standardization’s 9001:2015 is the latest version of standards that reflect the increasing demands of quality management. Health Net Federal Services has held ISO’s certification since 2004. Its ISO 9001:2015 certification is effective from January 4, 2017 through January 2020.
