Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) will pay a premium of approximately $7.8 billion in cash to acquire Orbital ATK Inc. (NYSE: OA). Shares of Northrop Grumman surged $8.94 to close at $275.97 while Orbital ATK stock rocketed $22.21 to close at $132.25.
