Geron And GE Enter Joint Development

Geron Corp. (Nasdaq: GERN) and GE Healthcare, a unit of General Electric (NYSE: GE) agreed to conduct joint research to develop embryonic stem cell products. Shares of Geron climbed $1.02 to $7.71 wile GE stock slipped 15 cents to $11.61.
