Cott Warns Of Pressure On Profit Growth

While Cott Corp. (NYSE: COT) swung to a second quarter profit of 48 cents per share compared with a loss of 3 cents per share in the year ago period, revenue fell and the private label soft drink maker warned that profit growth may be pressured by strong competition amidst the global recession. The stock price plummeted $2.08 to close at $5.65.
