RF Micro Devices Inc. (Nasdaq: RFMD) will pay approximately $1.6 billion in stock to acquire TriQuint Semiconductor Inc. (Nasdaq: TQNT). Shares of RF Micro Devices soared 98 cents to $6.79 while TriQuint stock jumped $2.10 to $11.33.
