Earnings Slip For Akamai

Akamai Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AKAM) reported lower first quarter earnings of 24 cents per share compared with 26 cents per share a year earlier and forecast current quarter income below estimates. The stock price plummeted $5.60 to close at $33.15.
