eGistics, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for payments and document-driven financial services applications, announced today the hiring of Gordon Sellers as chief strategy officer. A seasoned marketing, product management and business development executive for high-tech firms, Sellers will help drive eGistics’ revenue growth strategies. Sellers will report to eGistics CEO Bob Lund.

Sellers is widely recognized as a thought leader in leveraging enterprise software and cloud-based solutions in process-driven industries such as financial services and healthcare.

“Gordon Sellers is an accomplished, results-oriented executive with broad experience in developing strategies for penetrating new markets and growing market share with enterprise software, large-scale Software-as-a-Service applications, and Platform-as-a-Service content distribution solutions for financial services and healthcare organizations,” Lund said. “His expertise will help us identify new product opportunities to build on our strong momentum.”

Sellers joins eGistics from Systemware, where he was director of market development, responsible for the development of applications that leveraged the company’s core enterprise content management (ECM) technology platform. Before joining Systemware, Sellers was chief marketing officer and senior vice president for Xtria, the technology subsidiary of Furmanite (NYSE: FRM), which provided managed and hosted services in the healthcare, financial services and government markets. Sellers also served as vice president of marketing and sales for Fuego (now part of Oracle), which delivered a JAVA-based platform for the development, execution and management of automated end-to-end business processes.

Previously Sellers has held positions at Next Generation Network (now National Cinemedia), QuestOne Decision Sciences, Arcland (now part of Microsoft), and Micrografx.

Sellers attended Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada and is active in financial services and healthcare groups.
