Hillshire Brands Co. (NYSE: HSH) will pay a premium of approximately $4.28 billion to acquire Pinnacle Foods Inc. (NYSE: PF). Shares of Hillshire Brands fell $1.69 to $35.26 while Pinnacle Foods stock leaped $4.30 to $34.76.
