Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) will acquire Hospira Inc. (NYSE: HSP) in a deal
valued at approximately $17 billion. Shares of Pfizer rose 92 cents to
close at $32.99 while Hospira stock leaped $22.84 to close at $87.64.
