Incheon International Airport will present a special artistic performance to travelers during the golden holidays in the first week of May.

‘Golden Week Amazing Korea Concert’, will be held at 16:00 p.m. for 1 hour from May 1 to 5 at Millennium Hall on the first floor of Incheon International Airport. Performance of diverse genres, such as concert of original sound tracks (OSTs) of Korean wave dramas, popera, orchestra, Korean traditional music and dance will be open to every visitor for free.

On May 1, Australian classical crossover group, ‘The Ten Tenors’, that captivated over 90 million audiences across the world, will perform soul-touching beautiful harmony. The group will present powerful live performance, including movie OSTs, jazz and pop music.

On May 2, high-class classic performance of ‘Novus String Quartet’ that won the first prize in the 11th Mozart International Concours, and the ‘Trio Jade’, piano trio that ranked third place in the 9th Schubert International Chamber Music Concours, is prepared.

On May 3, for visitors during Golden Week in Japan and National Day holidays in China, the concert will deliver touching impression of Korean wave dramas. Singer Lyn who won the OST Award at the 50th Baeksang Art Awards and vocalist Kim Tae-woo with powerful voice will present OSTs of popular Korean wave TV dramas, including ‘My Love from Another Star’ and ‘Iris’.

On May 4, the artistic program will present fascinating collaboration performance of traditional dance with costumes of fashion designer Jeong Gyeong-hi and choreography of Lee Jong-ho, the choreographer of dance troupe at the National Gugak Center. The Korean traditional costume and dance to be performed by the National Gugak Center’s dance troupe and Chumsarang Dance Company is expected to serve as a chance of further spread Korean wave to the world.

On May 5, top Korean traditional musician Sohn Yang-hi and a group of Korean traditional artists will perform vocal music, folk songs, chamber music, depicting joys and sorrows of Korean tradition.
