“The training and development programmes are designed with an aim to engage participants through appropriate content and processes. Our programmes are mostly peer-led, project-specific and experience-centric,” Eric Michot, Co-director, summarised the main agenda of The Idea Processor programme for the food manufacturing sector. The Idea Processor has initially offered specialized skills development solutions for the hospitality and economic development sectors.
“We still have some of the biggest names in the hospitality and economic development sectors in our clientele. However, the food manufacturing sector needs scenario-based leadership development training and process training as well. We are offering specifically designed and tailor made programmes for this sector,” added Eric, a keynote speaker and leadership trainer who has experience in the food manufacturing sector in France and South Africa.
Tahirih Michot has extensive experience in programme design, process facilitation, project management and research, in the areas of action learning, adult development, coaching and design thinking, and said that each program design identifies and defines the unique challenges managers in different sectors face. “We understand that the challenges of the food manufacturing industry are quite different from that of the other sectors. Though we have extensively worked in other sectors, food manufacturing industry is a new and still untapped sector for us” Tahirih Michot said to the press here in Cape Town on Tuesday last. “Me and Eric look forward to contribute to the growth of the industry as a whole and we are committed to make the world a better place, starting at work!” she added.
