John Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), will discuss electronics recycling and e-waste tomorrow at the EI Digest Group Gathering 2010 at the Kona Kai Resort in San Diego, presented by The EnviroBiz Group.

As part of an expert panel discussion on the challenges and promise of harvesting valuable metals from discarded consumer electronics, Shegerian has been asked to address the audience of industry professionals. He plans to stress the fact that e-waste is still the fastest growing contributor to the waste stream and will describe long-range national and international implications of electronic recycling in terms of the environment and the potential benefits of urban mining from these resources.

Sitting alongside Shegerian on the EI Digest moderated panel will be John McShane of Veolia Environmental Services and Vi Chou of Waste Management – Recycle America.
