Earnings drop for Best Buy

Best Buy Co. Inc. (NYSE: BBY) reported sharply lower second quarter earnings of 42 cents per share compared with 78 cents per share in the year ago period as revenue fell. Shares of the consumer electronics retailer plunged $2.19 to close at $29.80.
