Calyxt Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Calyxt, Inc., a Minnesota-based company focusing on developing healthier food products, today announced the appointment of Gregory R. Smith as Chief Financial Officer.

With over 25 years in both public and private companies, Mr. Smith has served in various management roles including CFO and Vice President of Finance, with experience in financial strategy development, investor relations, and public/private fundraising.

Previously Mr. Smith served in high-growth technology companies as CFO of Image Sensing Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISNS) and VP of Finance for Digital River, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ listed DRIV), and began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Young.
