The conversation was all about the capital investment and infrastructure strategies. This conversation took place at the Chicagoland Laborers’ District Council Training and Apprentice center. During the meeting, the Mayor highlighted all the changes concerting CTA infrastructure and the upcoming City pipeline infrastructure projects. As a metaphorical ribbon, the mayor and other participants each shoveled a pile of dirt and tossed it away symbolizing the City moving forward and progressing for the benefit of its residents. Harris from McDonagh had the opportunity to spend a few moments with Mayor Emanuel and share in his excitement of this monumental event.”
