Red Hat CEO sees lift from IT spending pickup

As the economic recovery picks up and more companies resume investing in their IT networks, open-source software champion Red Hat Inc will benefit, Chief Executive Jim Whitehurst told MarketWatch in an interview even as he admitted mainstream cloud computing adoption is still a few years away.
