China to boost internal consumption, Roach says

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- China will likely embark on a new five-year plan soon to boost internal consumption as the country adjusts to a post-crisis world in which external demand from the U.S. and Europe remains sluggish, Stephen Roach, chairman of Morgan Stanley, Asia, said during a speech Monday.
