Cogent Systems Pleased with Ruling in Delaware Lawsuit

Cogent, Inc. (Nasdaq: COGT) today announced that on October 19, 2010, the Delaware Supreme Court refused a shareholder plaintiff's petition that the Court accept an interlocutory appeal from the Delaware Chancery Court's October 5, 2010 opinion denying plaintiff's motion for an injunction to enjoin 3M's tender offer for the outstanding shares of Cogent, Inc. The Court stated "that exceptional circumstances as would merit review of that decision do not exist in this case."
