Fed's Pianalto says easing was needed for recovery

OBERLIN, Ohio (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve's latest drive to push down borrowing costs was necessary to support a frail economic recovery, Cleveland Fed President Sandra Pianalto said on Thursday.
