newBrandAnalytics Names Vivek Sagi as Chief Technology Officer
newBrandAnalytics™, the leading provider of social business intelligence solutions, today announced that Vivek Sagi has been named Chief Technology Officer. Leading the firm’s product development teams in the U.S., Israel and India, Sagi will drive development of the newBrandAnalytics Social Business Intelligence™ platform and suite of products and oversee Cloud infrastructure operations and product management. Prior to joining newBrandAnalytics full-time, Sagi served as a strategic advisor and consultant to the firm.

Sagi brings over 12 years of technology and entrepreneurial experience to the newBrandAnalytics executive management team. Prior to newBrandAnalytics, he was general manager and vice president of ServiceLive, a Sears Holdings subsidiary, where he hired and grew the product, user interface and engineering teams to scale their marketplace platform to $150M in annual transactions.
Previously, Sagi co-founded GlobalRoads, an open source enterprise sales automation software company and 'Jamkai', an Apple staff pick social networking platform for the iPhone. He held multiple executive roles at Selectica where he participated in their successful IPO and led professional services and technology solutions for their strategic accounts. He was also a finalist in the Netflix recommendations $1 million contest.
Sagi holds bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and Penn State. He also received an MBA with honors from the Wharton Business School.
