Bull & Lifshitz, LLP announces an investigation into possible breaches of fiduciary duty in connection with the proposed sale Arch Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: ARJ) (referred to as "Arch Chemical" or the “Company”) to Lonza Group Ltd in an all-cash transaction with an enterprise value of $1.4 billion.

Under the terms of the agreement, Lonza has agreed to commence a tender offer for 100 percent of Arch Chemicals' outstanding shares of common stock at a price of $47.20 per share in cash. Lonza expects to commence a tender offer by July 15, 2011 and to complete the tender offer later in 2011.
