Invisa’s New Antenna Design Brings Enhanced Sensing Capability and Reliability to Presence-Sensing Technology

Invisa, Inc. (OTC.QBB: INSA) announced today a new antenna system designed to enhance the range and reliability of its globally distributed, non-contact-sensing safety systems. This latest advancement in the company’s InvisaShield™ technology fortifies the innovative connection and relief components of its current products, while maintaining RoHS compliancy (Restriction of Use of Hazardous Substances) and CE conformity (EU required).

Invisa’s CEO Edmund C. King stated, “Our SmartGate® safety products are increasingly demanded by pedestrians, parking gate manufacturers and owners of public and private facilities. SmartGate® is specified, either by brand name or for its unique performance, at public parking projects such as DFW Airport, South Carolina Port Authority and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.”

Company President John Zappala added, “From a risk management standpoint, enhanced pedestrian protection is only one benefit provided by SmartGate®. Cost savings accrue from reduced liability exposure and reduction of insurance claims.”

The new antenna is an integral component of Invisa’s SmartGate® safety system, which provides non-contact pedestrian and vehicle protection for parking barrier gates and powered enclosures. The invisible safety and security field senses potential contact prior to intrusion with unrivaled dependability and low maintenance requirements. Sensing interference before contact is breached substantially increases the first line of defense for commercial, industrial and governmental markets.

According to Elizabeth A. Henson, Invisa’s VP of Operations: “The new antenna system significantly enhances our InvisaShield™ sensors. We’re marketing the SmartGate® safety system to the parking barrier gate industry, since they’re increasingly focused on avoiding unwanted contact with pedestrians and vehicles and related liability.”
