To celebrate its timely inclusion on the GMSA production line, new car prices of both the 1.2 L and 1.2 LS have been slashed by 7 and 9.7 percent respectively.
For those not in a position to wait for the finished product to roll off the local assembly line, an established dealership of new and used cars in Cape Town, REEDS Motor Group, is offering a special deal on the existing models which have been carefully crafted overseas.

REEDS are offering both the 1.2 L and LS together with three deal options:
- A free service upgrade or
- Free accessories to the value of R6000 or
- R6000 trade-in assistance
Pay less for the home grown version
Those prepared to wait awhile for the home grown version, will be able to acquire the Chevrolet Spark 1.2 for R107 500 including VAT, registering a savings of R7000.
The 1.2 LS, resplendent with front power windows, height adjustable driver’s seat, ABS with EBD and front fog lamps - all exclusive to the high end luxury version – will be able to acquire for R116 500 VAT included, saving R12 445 in the process.
Both vehicles come with a five year, unlimited kilometre anti-corrosion warranty and a five year, 120 000 km warranty and roadside assistance.
