Cloud War Erupts: Google Takes On AWS, Rackspace

Google's (GOOG) move into the cloud computing, infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) market will pressure Amazon Web Services (AMZN) and Rackspace Hosting (RAX), says Jefferies analyst Thomas Seitz in a report out on Friday. Google introduced its "Compute Engine" and IaaS products on Thursday, sending down shares in Rackspace and other cloud stocks.
