PR Log - Jul 31, 2012 - Smith & Allen Consulting, Inc. (SACI) recently announced that two of its team members have been named as Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) for the current year. Jivtesh Singh was named as an MVP for the second consecutive year, and SACI co-founder, Belinda Allen, was named as an MVP for the first time.
According to Microsoft, approximately 4000 of its global community members received this award out of its total of over 100 million eligible members. Candidates are nominated by Microsoft, other community individuals or colleagues and are rigorously evaluated for their technical expertise, community leadership, and voluntary contributions to the Microsoft community.
Microsoft states its description of the criteria for selection: “MVPs are recognized for their exceptional technical expertise, willingness to help others make the most of their technology, and for making a significant and positive impact on communities. MVPs reach out and contribute to online and offline communities through a broad range of channels. These include online forums such as Microsoft Answers, TechNet and MSDN; wikis and online content; conferences and user groups; their own podcasts, Web sites and blogs; and articles and books.”
Additionally, MVPs receive early access to new and emerging technologies through a variety of Microsoft programs, keeping them on the cutting edge of the both the software and hardware industries and making them invaluable to the clients they serve.
Both SACI team members represent Microsoft Dynamics GP. Singh developed and maintains http://www.GPWindow.com, a resource hub and collection of Dynamics-related blogs, articles and forums used by Dynamics GP professionals around the world. Allen is both a Microsoft Certified Professional for Dynamics GP (MCP) and a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). She is also one of the co-founders of Smith & Allen Consulting, Inc.
