This Week In ETFs: September 16th Edition

This week was nothing if not eventful, between tech launches, the largest riots in Northern Africa since the Arab Spring and Bernanke’s announcement every day had something new that should have pulled the markets around. Yet some how, this week saw some of the best gains of the last five years recorded, including the S&P 500 reaching its highest level since 2007. Most analysts think this charge upward is due to recent intervention plans of central banks around the world, including the most recent announcement by the FOMC; low job numbers and a high consumer-price index have prompted another round of quantitative easing.
