nexMatrix Telecom, Inc. is entering the beta test phase for its latest product offering, a cloud data storage solution. Installed customers of a nexMatrix Protel PBX or other products are now entitled to a cloud account of up to 1 Gigabyte for no charge.

Cloud storage provides a secure and reliable way for businesses to back up critical data, centralize storage needs for remote offices, archive less-frequently used files, and manage overflow data during peak storage periods.

Following the beta test period, nexMatrix will begin offering secure cloud storage solutions to the public for low monthly fees. Price points for this product have not yet been determined.

nexMatrix customers can use their 1 Gb of free storage for any application they wish, through a web API, a cloud storage gateway, or a web-based user interface. Owners of a Protel PBX can back up their premise telephone switch configuration files directly and effortlessly to the nexMatrix cloud.

nexMatrix operates several secure data centers that house its softswitches and SIP trunk service, anchored by a cross-country fiber backbone. According to Dianne Ursini, company president and C.E.O., cloud storage is a natural addition to a product line that already includes premise PBX, VoIP and SIP services, softswitch timesharing and enterprise CRM/SCP solutions.

Customers who wish to activate their free storage account should contact their nexMatrix Value Added Reseller, or contact the company directly at 208-697-5808.
