Corporate events have evolved over the years from long meetings with brain killing white board presentations to high-tech; entertainment gala’s where it’s not uncommon to bump into a celebrity brought in to pump up the staff. And while the intent is still the same the means of delivery has definitely changed to fit the times. The newest must have at any corporate event is a photo booth, another thing that has changed dramatically over the years.
Photo booths were introduced in the late 1800’s and while the concept is still the same, take four pictures and print them out in a strip, the added bells and whistles are what makes today’s photo booths different. Standard in most of today’s photo booths is the ability to choose between a black and white set of photo graphs and color, the ability to have custom text or a logo or both printed on the photo strips, green screens which allow for a digital image to be place behind the person being photographed, video capture and the ability to email or share the photo’s via social media.
With these changes it’s easy to see why corporate event planners have taken to photo booths with such fervor. Allowing employees, management, even entire departments to take a turn in a photo booth adds to the company’s chemistry. Having pictures to show around the office, share on the company Facebook page or post on their blog is a wonderful way of expressing a company’s personality and sense of fun.
Dallas / Fort Worth based company Photo Booth Rentals DFW is one of the many across the U.S. offering photo booths for rent and owner Barbara Stone shared “we are having our best year ever when it comes to corporate events.” She went on to say “we have one of the biggest photo booths in the country and when corporate event planners see it their heads spin at not only the size but the elegance of the booth, which really fits the professional look most companies expect at their corporate events.” Barbara ended her thoughts with “we have seen entire departments of 10 or more people get in our booth and they always come out laughing and smiling, so it has to have a positive impact when they get back to the office.”
So while the mainstay of corporate events, music, dancing, dinner will always be around look for photo booths to have a long lasting impact in the corporate event world.
