CELEBRITY JOINS CAST OF TY LOW PRODUCTIONS FOR GRIPPING NEW PLAY

Ty Low Productions presents Gary Jenkins (Little G) in the new production of ‘If I Can’t Have You Then Nobody Can’ at the Revival Center Church in Carteret, New Jersey. After working with Tyler Perry, the celebrity has joined the cast of this New Jersey theater company for its October 13th 2012 performances of this drama. Specializing in plays with an uplifting gospel message, Ty Low Productions (who some have hailed as “the next Tyler Perry”) welcomes Gary Jenkins into their fold. The company has produced plays throughout the East Coast, and is committed to community outreach through supporting and sponsoring fundraisers for churches and other community organizations.
‘If I Can’t Have You Then Nobody Can’ centers on the life of Dorian Phillips, a loving and successful family man – with a secret. When a woman from his past shows up at his front door, she is determined to get him back at any cost and by any means necessary. The thin line between love and hate has been erased, lending the play an edge that only a destructive and determined secret can provide. Highlighting the harm that secrets can bring, the play contrasts Dorian’s heartwarming and stable life with a darkness born of secrecy and hate. All at once entertaining, entrancing, and educational, this play presents a tale of caution and a vision of what happens when love is corrupted.
By far, the most successful performance with Ty Low Productions has been the hit ‘For the Love of Money,’ a play focusing on the destructive power of money and the effects on one family of a large lottery winning. Billed as a comedy, ‘For the Love of Money’ is not only instructive and creative, but also filled with a message of hope and a vision of a brighter future that could exist. “What makes our performances different from other plays is we base all of our shows on realistic life situations, but we show them from a Bible base,” said Ty Low Productions founder and producer Tyrone Lowman. “Our productions send a message of hope, encouragement, love, forgiveness, and faith.” Other successful productions include ’What Kind Of Love Is This,’ the story of a couple’s struggle against unfaithfulness in a marriage; ‘Lord, Make Me Over’, an individuals’ account with drug abuse and homosexuality; and ’He's Still A Man’, an inspiring story of a pastor who overcame his earthly desires and struggles.
‘If I Can’t Have You Then Nobody Can’ will be performed October 13th 2012 at either 3pm or 7pm at the Revival Center Church, 45 Edwin Street, Carteret, New Jersey.
