Camfil Farr Air Filtration Expert to Speak at Leading Industry Conference

Camfil Farr, the world’s leading provider of clean air solutions, is pleased to announce that Don Thornburg, the company’s R&D Manager, will be joining a panel of industry experts at the Filtration 2012 International Conference and Exposition. One of the most prominent events in the global air filtration business, Filtration 2012 will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia from November 13 to 15, and is expected to attract more than 1,600 attendees from 30 countries, and well over 125 exhibitors.

The three-day conference and showcase, now in its third decade, enables participants to learn about the latest technologies and best practices in air filtration, and see new products up close and in action. Don’s panel will discuss in-situ testing of commercial air filters versus lab testing. It’s a particularly appropriate topic, given Camfil Farr’s leading role in educating and assisting customers in the testing processes that let them compare air filters and focus in on those that provide both optimal indoor air quality and sustainable, cost-efficient operation. Camfil Farr has long worked with customers to set up and perform on-site testing of competing air filters, helping them see firsthand how different models stack up in real-world settings. Organized by INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, Filtration 2012 is perhaps the most important annual gathering of the air filtration industry, known for covering diverse aspects of filtration technology, as well as new products and research. It is particularly known for its international focus, with more than one-third of all exhibitors coming from outside the United States in 2011 -- and an even higher percentage expected this year.
