The Funding Corporation of Chester has been tipped to gain a prestigious "Best Companies to Work For" accreditation.
The motor finance firm was awarded a place in the 2013 "Ones To Watch" category of the major annual survey of Britain's most dynamic and engaging workplaces.
It followed the results of a confidential questionnaire sent to all of the group's near-200 employees, asking their opinions on a range of issues concerning the company and its management.
Questions posed included how staff felt about being encouraged to achieve their personal ambitions, communication within the firm, their engagement with their job, and their pay and benefits.
The survey also looked at the extent to which staff felt their company had a positive impact on society, and how well it helped them achieve a work-life balance.
The positive views recorded enabled the Funding Corporation to gain a place in the category which earmarks UK firms as prime candidates for Best Companies accreditation.
The Funding Corporation, which is based in Chester, provides non-prime finance to buyers of used cars via its national retail subsidiary ACF Car Finance.
