The South Florida After-School All-Stars (SFASAS) celebrates its 5th annual gala in April 2013 with a countdown unlike any other. Beginning February 2013 until April 2013, the SFASAS is expected to raise in excess of $100,000 dollars through its “Countdown to Gala Mystery Gift” campaign to support exceptional educational after school programs for 4,000 children and 32 middle schools from South Florida’s underserved communities.

As an immediate response to grass roots donations, the campaign is giving mystery gifts to each of its donors compliments of over twenty most sought after brands and locations such as Zico, Monster Energy Drink, Mango’s Tropical Café, Front Porch Café, Zyr Vodka, Baoli Miami, Travelhost Magazine, and many more. South Florida After-School All-Stars’ resolve is continuously and increasingly underscored by its ambassadors which include Kobe Bryant, Andy Garcia, Chris Bosh, Lebron James, Joe Marie and more. Companies such as Fox Sports, Metro PCS and Audemars Piguet have also lent unsurpassed aid to the likes of these efforts etc.

Having recently hosted an unprecedented 1800 young adults and families at Superfest 2012, a prodigious fun and fitness event sponsored by Fox Sports, SFASAS is no stranger to setting milestones and pioneering cutting edge campaigns.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger founded the Inner City Games foundation in Los Angeles California in 1992. Subsequently, in 1995, it was renamed South Florida After-School All-Stars, on a steadfast mission to better impact the lives of inner city students in the areas of academics, enrichment activities and health & fitness. To date, the SFASAS is the largest national organization specifically focused on serving middle school age students.
