AIG Makes Final Repayment to Government for Bailout

AIG, the insurance giant whose derivative bets went sour at the height of the 2008 worldwide financial pandemic, announced Friday that it had repaid its final debt to the U.S. Treasury of its $22.7 billion government bailout.
