PR Log - Mar 20, 2013 - Brother announces, that its two high-speed automatic colour document scanners (ADS-2100, ADS-2600W) will now integrate seamlessly with Kodak Capture Pro Software using ISIS scanning drivers.
The collaboration between Brother and Kodak is a direct result of customer feedback, Richard Thomas, Product Planning Manager at Brother Europe, explains:
“User`s have been positive to Brother’s new desktop single scanners earlier this year, they were clear about their additional requirements for integration with Enterprise Content Management Solutions.
We approached Kodak due to the popularity of the Capture Pro Software and after a short period of collaboration and testing we are pleased to confirm compatibility of scanner and software”.
KODAK Capture Pro Software enables users to quickly convert forms, invoices, patient records and other critical business documents to high-quality images, efficiently capture critical index data, and then automatically deliver it to databases and ECM applications.
Brother’s two high-speed automatic colour document scanners (ADS-2100, ADS-2600W) can handle a variety of documents from paper to plastic cards, and offer speeds of up to 48ipm (images per minute). Both models offer ad-hoc scanning solutions with software from companies such as Nuance and NewSoft and now with enterprise batch capture solutions from Kodak.
Using Brother’s new desktop scanners combined with Kodak Capture Pro Software, customers can now achieve easy, powerful and affordable document and data capture, in stand-alone or in client-server environments, and benefit from an ongoing roadmap of new features, such as Arabic OCR.
