Honda Releases Trio of Vehicles at Shanghai Auto Show

Aggressive new designs and stylish builds define Honda's Chinese lineup.

PR Log - Apr 30, 2013 - There are few things that get car fans more excited than the debut of a new car or concept vehicle, and the sales team at LaFontaine Honda has had their eyes peeled and ears to the ground for more news on the autos Honda premiered at the Shanghai Auto Show.

One of the most futuristic-looking of the bunch, the Honda Jade is set to take China's auto market by force with a sleek build offering all of the conveniences of a sedan with the storage space of a wagon. Originally previewed as the Concept S MPV, the Jade looks quite a bit like a take on the Honda Civic Tourer Concept that is supposed to hit Europe later this year.

Then there is Honda's new mid-size sedan, the CRIDER. Sliding right in between the Accord and the Civic, this new Honda carries an aggressive front end that looks to borrow elements from some of the automaker's most popular builds.

And for the folks who need more of a people-mover, the Honda M is another multi-purpose vehicle that seeks to combine the handling of a sedan with the versatility of a minivan.

While these vehicles are currently only slated for an Asian release, there are few better ways to get an insight into an automaker's plans than to see what they are presenting in other parts of the world. With a new wagon arriving in both Europe and Asia, is America far behind?

If nothing else, design elements from the M could easily transition over to the popular Honda Odyssey, and even though the Accord is one of the most popular sedans on the market today, there are likely drivers seeking something just a bit smaller.

For now, however, the full lineup of American models provides quite a bit of variety, and drivers interested in learning more about Honda's Shanghai Auto Show debuts or discovering the current Honda lineup firsthand can contact a sales expert at LaFontaine Honda. With showroom hours six days a week, they make it easy to get behind the wheel of a new Honda.
