On May 1, 2013, Markofanathlete.com opened its doors for business. The website is a complete resource for researching how to grow and protect sports autograph and memorabilia collections.  At launch, the site contains over 90,000+ athlete profiles complete with shortcuts to stats, biographical information, online auction items, and video content exclusive to each athlete. The site also boasts a database featuring over 10,000 athlete autographs for reference and comparison. As sporting world gains new athletes, MoaA will add these profiles to the database.

Emphasizing a one stop shop for the sports enthusiast, Mark of an Athlete members will learn about protecting investments, be able to research stats on fantasy athletes, cross-reference/related sports media (radio, podcasts etc.), track down tickets to local sporting events, and purchase team merchandise and memorabilia.

Mark of an Athlete has also set out to establish promotional relationships with athletes. At Launch, Mark of an Athlete featured Meredith Kessler, a San Francisco based triathlete and 6x Ironman event winner and recent winner of the St. George 70.3 triathlon.

About the company

In 2011, Mark of an Athlete [MoaA] CEO and Founder Paul Bass was inspired to  create an online hub for others to share information about the world of sports memorabilia and autograph collecting.
