ST. CROIX, USVI –St. Croix’s beloved island-inspired, handcrafted Caribbean jewelry from ib designs will be featured at the Carbondale, Colorado Mountain Fair on July 26, 27 & 28.
PRLog - Jul 11, 2013 - CARBONDALE, Colo. -- “The Mountain Fair is a beautiful setting with a very strong artisan and outdoor community,” said Kris Massicott, owner of ib designs. “We have family there and decided to participate in the long-standing artistic Mountain Fair tradition.”

ib designs hopes attending the festival will help spread the word about St. Croix as a destination as well as the wealth of talent within the island’s artistic community.

“We hope to have a successful exhibition at Carbondale and cultivate a tradition of returning to the Fair again and again,” Massicott said.

This is the 42nd Annual Mountain Fair in Carbondale, Co.

According to the Carbondale Council for Arts & Humanities website www.carbondalearts.com :

Carbondale is an “arts” town, and is a central hub of arts activity in the Roaring Fork Valley from Aspen to Rifle. In 2012, we were the recipients of the Governor’s Art Award for our commitment to arts and creativity.

Our Mountain Fair celebrates art in all forms of expression, and is known for a diverse range of arts and crafts, non-stop entertainment, great food and an amazing spirit. A “Family Area” includes interactive, creative experiences for children, and friendly competitions run the gamut from cake baking to wood splitting.

This year Roland McCook, Chief of the Northern Utes, will bring glimpses of his culture to the fair. There will be traditional Ute teepee set up on the fairgrounds as well as traditional dancing and drumming. Over 300 volunteers come together to make this one of the most popular and unique fairs in Colorado, and admission is FREE.
