By: PRLog
Two More Schools Embrace See The Change USA’s Program. See The Change USA’s Physics curriculum not only meets current science standards and the new generation science standards, it exceeds them and in August 2013 approximately 400 more Colorado middle school age students will benefit from learning age appropriate Physics as a separate science discipline.
PRLog - Aug 12, 2013 - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- 300 plus public middle school students from Leadville, CO grades 6 through 8 at the Lake County Middle School and approximately 90 charter school students from Colorado Springs, CO Division V students (7th & 8th) and Division IV students (5th & 6th)  at the Academy for Advanced and Creative Learning are implementing See The Change USA’s Physics curriculum.

The National Center for Education Statistics states U.S. Students are scoring below 25 countries in mathematics and scoring below 17 countries in science.  There is a significant gap in focus on K-12 fundamental science education and introducing Physics in high-school is just too late, according to Dr. Anatoliy Glushchenko, Co-Founder of See The Change USA and creator and author of the Physics curriculum content.  Dr. Glushchenko says, “Age appropriate physics taught to middle school students is the answer to rapidly improve children’s education and increase the level of student achievements in Science and Mathematics to out-perform global competition”.

See The Change USA was founded in August 2012 and is a national educational and charitable non-profit organization committed to student advancement in Science and Engineering.  This is accomplished through introducing physics, chemistry and computer programming in middle schools, paralleling what is already in existence internationally.  See The Change USA has applied to the IRS for tax exempt status as a 501 (C) 3 organization.
